I knew absolutely nothing ab...It was a blind pick. I knew absolutely nothing about it save that it was the Rabid selection for best novel this year. In a strange way, I think that it's probably the most CHORF-friendly tale I've seen come out of the Rabid movement. From the focus on petty relationship dramas, to the devil portrayed as a sympathetic character, to the Canadian setting (and all of the cultural assumptions THAT implies) this book read like something you'd see on the final list.
